If you have ever needed to get rid of startup programs or broken shortcuts from Windows’ tray, System Tray Cleaner online utility will help you, as it was specifically designed to remove useless icons and programs.
Most of the times, it’s hard to know if startup programs can be removed without affecting Windows or other applications. System Tray Cleaner displays detailed information about the program before taking action so the user can decide what actions to take: delete, disable, or remove from start up.
About the interface, it has none of its own as it uses the computer’s default Web Browser to connect to ‘System Tray Cleaner’ website and display the list of startup programs and location on the computer. By clicking on one of these items, it shows more detailed information and two buttons: Uninstall or Remove.
Quite simple, just click on the icon on the system tray and perform a checkup. Still, it has a disadvantage because other similar programs (such as Quick Startup) don’t need an Internet connection to remove programs; plus there aren’t really any options other than remove or delete.
